Shopify收集用户Email的利器:Wheelio

Wheelio是Karlo开发的一款大转盘APP,收集Email的转化率很高,我自己的转化率是8%。(其实现在开发Shopify的APP还是很有前景的,竞争还不大,过几年估计就好Wordpress一样火了。)

Wheelio的原理很简单,用户到达着陆页以后,如果有关闭页面的趋势,比如鼠标移动到页面顶部,或者在手机端突然上拉页面(也可以在后台设置用户到达着陆页多少秒后自动弹出大转盘),就弹出大转盘,让用户可以输入Email抽奖,这种互动性的方式转化率比单纯的弹出一个优惠券要高很多。

今天在新站使用了Wheelio的专业版,可以对用户进行分类,这样Email List的价值更高,以后可以有针对性的营销。它是利用URL类进行分类。我们可以使用collections的URL来操作,因为一般情况下,一个collections下都是同一类产品,可以理解成浏览的用户都是同一个人群。

用Facebook打广告的时候要注意一点,广告的URL,要使用collections那个URL,类似这种格式:

https://xxxxxx.com/collections/kitchen/products/food_tool

而不要使用product:

https://xxxxxx.com/products/food_tool

否则的话就办法将用户分类了。

今天看到Karlo最新更新的博客《THE SHEEP OF E-COMMERCE MARKETING》,很受启发。

其实精华就是一句话:

Be creative, dont follow blindly, test stuff out, call shit out, call me out if you dare.. dont be a sheep, be a fckn WOLF. 

要有创造性,不能只听别人说,只单纯的模仿别人,否则永远无法有大的突破。正好最近自己也在思考一个问题,就是要有侵略性,不过是在测试新产品,还是在测试广告方面,以前都太保守了。

还有最近看到傅盛的新文章提到的一点:找到破局点,然后All in。感觉这样坚持下去,一定会有大的突破。

总结一下就是:

侵略性+创造性—->找到破局点—->All in !


Karlo在文章中提到Offer的玩法,现在让用户当场下单,越来越难。在文案上下功夫,比如说提供折扣,为什么要提供折扣。这点自己之前都是模仿别人,简单的说50% Off Today之类的话,确实太苍白无力了。为什么今天要5折?所有要给用户讲故事,提供一个能够说服别人、让人感兴趣的理由。

比如推一款范迪塞尔的T恤,就可以查一下范迪塞尔哪天生日,如果切好是最近,那再好不过,比如说是6月15日,那我们就说:

庆祝范迪塞尔生日,截止他生日当天,销售结束。

或者截止他生日之前,5折销售。这样的话其实也可以作为广告的角度。另外,像庆祝速8上映,或者庆祝母亲节,庆祝国庆日,都是一个道理。

这样就真实多了。

I’ve finally found a winning product and got the hang of facebook ads after 2 months of failure! I’ve spent less than $20 on ads so far. I have 1 PPE $5 budget running for 3 days now. I was having crazy engagement so after the 2nd day I created 2 WC ads ($5 each budget) split test the gender and adjusted the age target for View Count. Then Boom, I started to get sales in less than 1 day. Made 7 sales and so far still increasing. Now my problem is, how do I scale from here to get the maximum profit?? I need help!

Guy Harley Change from VC to ATC. Then once you are getting 50 Purchases a week. Change from ATC to Purchase Conversions.

   Guy Harley It really up to you. Ideally if you duplicate it you will then have your initial adset as a constant to test against and see which one performs better. You could also just change the initial one too to make it simpler.
The safer option and what i would do in this situation is duplicating it with a budget a bit higher and see how it performs and then go from there 🙂 good luck!
Then slowly increase your budget by 20% every 3 days

Piotr Smirnow Duplicate now and set objective to ATC. You can run both VC and ATC at the same time. Once I get a winning product i do it this way. I get sales from VC + my ATC adset is warming up 🙂
    Petra Lo Piotr Smirnow, does your cpm go up a lot with duplicating because of overlapping audience? or does it go down after the initial jump? My cpm/cpc always jumped a lot but I don’t keep them live long enough to see if they go back down.
Piotr Smirnow CPA is all I care about. IMHO FB segment users based on behaviour (likers, commenters, clickers, etc), so VC and ATC don’t overlap a lot.

Ammar Tumbi I would say go for slow scaling on this adset increasing budgets by $2-3. Wait and check the performance then increase. I won’t do any changes to my winning campaign if it is performing. For scaling dupe the adset with objective ATC on a higher budget. Also increase budget on PPE as well. The more social proofs you the better it will be

I duplicated my winning ads to VC and ATC and split test the age and gender that we’re converting the most. Budgets for each ad were $10 each this time. Then BOOM! Woke up this morning and saw my sale grow even faster! I’m super pumped. My profit margin for each sale is not even close to how much I’m spending with my ads. It works guys! Ryan Phung If you are already getting sales with VC, you should skip ATC and go straight to purchase. What is your margin on your sales price? You need to leave room for profit and your ad spend.

  Adrian Guiao Quijano My profit margin is $7. Should I wait for my pixel to gather more data in ATC before I switch to Purchase? My ad has only been running for less than 3 days. My ad spend is cheaper tho in B.C. and ATC.
  Ryan Phung No, your pixel optimizes on an adset level, every time you duplicate your adset, your pixel starts from 0 again

  Ryan Phung VC ads are only used to test if you literally have no idea on targeting, i usually just straight up start with ATC. If you already have a converting adset from a VC ad, just duplicate into two adsets 50 dollar budget, one ATC and one Purchase and give them 24-48 hours to optimize

  Ryan Phung I personally hate 5 dollar adsets, so does Frank if you watch his videos. You are giving Facebook so little budget to optimize. Facebook works with past data, the more conversions you give it a day the better your adset will work
  Adrian Guiao Quijano I use the $5 PPE ad to see who will engage…. How would you know when to do a $50 advert right of the back?
  Ryan Phung You do the 50 dollar adset after your 5 dollar adsets convers. No point in having 5 duplicate of 5-10 dollar adsets. You just end up with 5 average peforming adsets that needs to reoptimize after time you duplicate. PM me if you want to discuss further
